Project Description
THANK YOU for a wonderful 2019 Holiday Art Fair!
Join us again in 2020!
The third annual Holiday Art Fair on Saturday, December 14th, was held in the gymnasium at Harmony School. The 2019 Holiday Art Fair displayed and sold art and fine crafts by Bloomington Area artists. It was a wonderful opportunity to find lovely winter gifts and tasty winter treats.
Some of the events at this past fair and promised for future fairs include:
Selfies with Santa
Bring your camera/phone and get your picture taken with Santa for $5!
Kids Winter Market
Middle School Students are hosting a Kids Winter Market where children around ages 5-11 can be dropped off to make and/or purchase presents for their loved ones while their parents/guardians do some shopping of their own at the art fair.
The works of local Bloomington artists such as:
Aurora Luna Designs, “Lit”, Dark Pony Art, Essentially You, Flawed IRONy, Found Art, Herbal Kindness, Indie Sunshine, IndiGo Pepper, Lighthouse Press, Maple Grove Resinworks, Quilting Frenzy, Scroungy Bird Houses, Starlight Bottle Company, The Knotted Cloak, and Wild Endeavor.
Registration form for vending artists in 2020 coming soon.
These are “the basics” for artists in 2019, but please know that these details may change for the 2020 event.
- Artist Fees are per 10’ space – this is a linear space, not square, as all artists will be set up in the gym or the hall on the first floor. This is a fundraising event for Harmony School and we ask that all artists donate 10% of their sales from the show to be paid by the end of the day.
- Artists may rent more than one space, if more than 10 linear feet are needed. We have a limited amount of space, so it is reserved on a first come/first served basis. Set-up is from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on the Friday before. The building will be locked overnight, but please do not leave any pieces at your space if you are not comfortable leaving them as Harmony School will not be liable for them. The building will be opened Saturday by 8:30 AM.
- Electricity is available, but artists must provide their own extension cords and surge protectors. The light in the gym may not be ideal for showing your items. We advise that you be prepared to light your space should you decide it is necessary.
- SPACE IS LIMITED! 2019 FILLED UP! Vendors will be notified whether or not they receive a space, after which, vendor booth payments should be made appropriately. A process for payment will be provided online soon!
