Harmony School in Bloomington, Indiana (harmonyschool.org) is seeking to hire a part-time licensed Youth First Mental Health Professional to provide prevention and early intervention services to students and families. This person will work 20 hours per week on-site at Harmony.
- Start date July 27, 2026
- 20 hours per week on-site at Harmony School (909 E 2nd Street, Bloomington IN)
- Pay based off experience
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Social Work or other license in the mental health field from an accredited university.
- Licensure in Social Work (LSW/LCSW), Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT/LMFT-A), Mental Health Counseling (LMHC/LMHC-A) or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC/LPC) in the state of Indiana.
- Leadership in Mental Health skills set.
- Ability to build and maintain trusting rapport within school environments.
- Ability to work independently, and to function effectively with multiple tasks.
- Ability to interact positively with schools, parents, and students.
- Ability to perform duties with awareness of and compliance with related corporation policies and state requirements.
- Ability to organize time and workload to fulfill requirements of the job.
- Working knowledge of community resources for referrals.
- Knowledge of issues surrounding youth and their families.
- Demonstrates Cultural Competency.
- Basic computer mastery skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Responsibilities:
- Duties will include classroom presentations, small group sessions, individual intervention, crisis assessments, parent engagement, staff consultation and professional development, etc.
